Personal Assistant
Lisa is a Behaviour Support Practitioner with a strong background in aged care and disability support. She has over 15 years of experience working in support roles, where she developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals living with disability and the importance of compassionate, person-centred care.
Lisa brings a calm, kind, and empathetic approach to every interaction, using evidence-based strategies to help participants feel safe, supported, and empowered. Since joining Ararat Wellness in February, she has worked closely alongside an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner, further developing her skills in positive behaviour support and deepening her understanding of the NDIS framework.
Driven and passionate about advocacy, Lisa is committed to standing up for the rights and needs of participants, ensuring they receive the care and opportunities they deserve. She believes meaningful outcomes are achieved through collaboration, empathy, and consistency.
Currently completing a Diploma of Counselling, Lisa continues to expand her knowledge to strengthen her holistic understanding of behaviour, mental health, and wellbeing.
Outside of work, Lisa enjoys spending time with her two daughters. Family life keeps her grounded and inspires the compassion and dedication she brings to her role every day.
