Lee-Lian Goh

Lee-Lian’s professional journey began with a strong passion for social justice, human behaviour, and the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, safety, and purpose. With over 15 years of experience, Lee-Lian brings a rare depth of expertise spanning disability, mental health, substance use, and forensic services.

After completing a Bachelor of Social Work with First Class Honours at Monash University, Lee-Lian embarked on a career path that would see her supporting some of the most complex and high-risk individuals in Victoria. For more than a decade, she worked in Corrections Victoria, holding leadership roles as a Principal Practitioner and Specialist Case Manager.

Lee-Lian’s work in forensic settings involved close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in residential and transitional facilities. She was not only responsible for case management but also for providing supervision, reflective practice, and case management oversight to teams supporting people with challenging behaviour, personality disorders, and dual diagnosis presentations.

In recent years, Lee-Lian has become a highly regarded Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioner under the NDIS, with a focus on working alongside people with disability and complex support needs. She supports participants and teams across diverse environments — from supported accommodation to day programs — helping them develop positive, rights-based behaviour support strategies that promote quality of life, choice, safety, and engagement.

Lee-Lian is also passionate about supervising and mentoring behaviour practitioners, building sector capacity through reflective practice and evidence-informed training. Her calm, grounded, and person-centred approach has made her a valued leader among practitioners seeking to grow in ethical, trauma-informed practice.

Lee-Lian holds multiple specialist qualifications, including:

  • Graduate Certificate in Alcohol & Other Drugs – Turning Point
  • Specialist Certificate in Criminology (Sexual Offender Management) – University of Melbourne
  • Accreditation in the Triple P Positive Parenting Program
  • Training in Engaging in Positive Behaviour Support Practices and Quality Behaviour Support Planning
  • Supervision training for individual and group reflective practice

Throughout her career, Lee-Lian has remained anchored in values of integrity, accountability, human rights, and respect. Her approach is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and grounded in the belief that the best support environments are built on relationships and a deep understanding of each person’s story.

Whether supporting individuals with complex behaviour, guiding practitioners through challenging cases, or developing behaviour support plans that balance quality of life, rights, safety with dignity — Lee-Lian brings compassion, clinical insight, and clarity to everything she does.
