Amy Holden

Amy Holden is a Behaviour Support Practitioner who is passionate about supporting people to feel understood, safe, and capable in their everyday lives.

Based in South-West Victoria, Amy now calls the region home, having originally moved from Ireland. She brings a strong background in disability support, aged care, complex care, and out-of-home care. Through this experience, she has developed a deep understanding of the systems, environments, and relationships that shape a person’s day to day life.

Amy works with children, adolescents, and adults. She supports individuals with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, acquired brain injury, dementia, and complex mental health presentations.

Her approach is practical, strengths-based, and person-centred. She focuses on understanding the function of behaviour and developing strategies that genuinely fit the individual and their environment.

Her work reflects a deep understanding of behaviour and the environments in which it occurs. She focuses on delivering positive, thoughtful, and consistent support that is effective in real-world settings. Amy is highly skilled at interpreting complex presentations and translating them into practical, sustainable strategies that support meaningful, lasting change.

Amy is known for her warm, down to earth nature and her ability to build strong, trusting relationships. She is committed to delivering behaviour support that is practical, respectful, and makes a genuine difference in people’s everyday lives.

Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, and making the most of the slower pace of life in South-West Victoria. She enjoys going to sporting events, cooking, and keeping things simple.
